Three
levels of Administration

|
The
Administration of the LMS has three
distinct levels of administration
which allows work to be distributed
over many areas:
-
Super
Administrators have complete control
over the system.
-
Local Administrators
are responsible for the daily
monitoring and correspondence
of groups of students assigned
to them.
-
Instructors have
control over the students and
information related only to their
class.
|
|
Super
Administration Workload

|
The
super administrator can monitor and
manage the workflow of each local
administrator.
 |
They see the work queue of each
local administrator so they
can balance workloads for maximum
|
 |
They
can assume the role of any local
administrator if needed for
vacation coverage, time off
from work, etc.
|
|
|
Local
Administration Work Queue

|
The
local administrators have an inbox,
which contains all the correspondence,
which they need to resolve. .
 |
Work items include "Petitions"
to waive certain course policies
or prerequisites, "Course
Failure Notifications",
"Requests to Drop"
required classes and "Enrollment
or Course Completion Past Due
Date" notices.
|
 |
You can add customized notices
that you want to receive, such
as a course cost approval form
prior to allowing a student
to enroll in a course.
|
|
|
Global
System Settings

|
Super
Administrators can quickly set Overall
System Parameters to match the strategy
and policies of your training program.
 |
Parameters such as the maximum
number of courses a student
can be enrolled in, the amount
of reward points for various
activities and the class ranking
methodology can all be set or
changed quickly.
|
|
|
Global
Course Settings

|
Super
Administrators can quickly set Overall
Course Parameters, such as the Grading
Scale, to make all courses conform
to your standard policies.
 |
Most importantly, you can set
all the default notification
parameters so the system automatically
sends out pass enrollment, course
failure, pass due date notices
to both students and supervisors.
In this way, the amount of time
the administrator spends on
routine tasks is minimized.
|
|
|
Student
Manager

|
Students
are added quickly and automatically
assigned required curriculum as student
characteristics are identified.
 |
The Super Administrator can
change administrative responsibilities,
privileges and managing groups.
In this way, the Super Administrator
has complete control over the
training program.
|

Group Manager

This defines their learning
plan and allows tracking and
reporting based on many different
characteristics.

Since students can belong to
many groups, you can benchmark
individual performances to multiple
indicators.
