System) is to provide constant feedback and
followup in training and education processes. An LMS allows
users to have a private and personal environment in which
to learn. Certification and learning paths can be created
for different positions and responsiblities. Users can create
their own learning paths and really take control of their
own career development.
From a company or organization standpoint,
management can now have knowledge about what their people
are doing and learning. Up to 100,000 users can use the system
with grades and learning paths. Management can use this information
to make decisions about the organization´s effectiveness.
In summary, an LMS provides users with a
way to increase knowledge and therefore productivity, and
it allows management to have information about all the employees
or users.
